Lakeshire Park by Megan Walker

This is a historical fiction romance book in the vein of those other proper romance books. It’s set in regency England and we follow two sisters who must marry before their step father dies and leaves them penniless.

This book was exactly what I expected. It was a sweet romance where everything worked out in the end. Yes, the characters were a bit unbelievable and the conflict could have been avoided by the characters actually talking to each other, but for some reason in this book it didn’t bother me.

It was sweet and fun and I really appreciated the relationship between the two sisters. I wish this was present in more books.
