Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling
I wasn’t loving the book I was reading (you’ll see what book next) so I went back and continued rereading Harry Potter again.
If you did not know, this is book three in the series and thus follows Harry Potter’s third year at Hogwarts. This year is all centered around Sirius Black, a criminal on the loose who is out to kill Harry Potter…or is he? Continue reading “(64) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban // Bookish Blurb”
Teasing Master Takagi-san by Soichiro Yamamoto
I’m going to include this as a book I read even though it didn’t really involve much reading. One of my friends sent this to me (along with Wild Embers) – thank you friend (who doesn’t read this blog) so I read it.
Basically this is a manga following the story of this girl who always teases this boy and he is always trying to tease her back and failing. It’s cute and also kind of ridiculous. I’m not really sure what else to say about it. I guess I should say something about the drawings (that’s not the right word… illustrations?). Idk, it’s just your typical manga school style (wow I’m so bad at this). It’s been a long long time since I read a manga but I enjoyed the ridiculously of this one although I might not want to read a whole bunch of these in a row.

Like I said, I’m counting this as a book I read even though some people might disagree.

My parents recently gave me all the Harry Potter books so I decided to reread them. It’s been quite a while since I read them so I started (where most people start) at the beginning.
This book is mostly about Harry Potter learning that’s he’s a wizard and getting acquainted with Hogwarts. There is also a plot all about the sorcerer’s stone but that is almost secondary in this book. I always liked this book because of how much the Dursleys (the people Harry are raised with) are present in it. I know we are supposed to hate them but part of me is very fascinated by them.
