This is a fantastical ya book set in a world where there are three classes of people: Moon (fully deamon), Steel (part deamon part human), and Paper (fully human). The land is ruled by the deamon king and every year he takes eight girls to be his paper girls for the year. In this book we follow Lei who is abducted from her home seven years after her mother was taken from her and forced to become a paper girl for the king. The One Hundred Nights of Hero by Isabel Greenberg
I realized that I din’t have books to read so I went online and found some. This book (and many of the ones in the near future) came from an NPR list of recommended books.
