Falkirk // Scotland

Note: Please take this post with a grain of salt. It might be offensive to the mind and body otherwise. Also sorry if you were looking for a book-related post, there will be another one of those soon.

Another of the day trips I went on while I was in Scotland was to Falkirk. Apparently there is nothing in Falkirk and I kind of happen to agree but we went there nonetheless. It was kind of a miserable day (we went from freezing rain to snow and I was not properly attired) but I ended up with some semi nice pictures and a few stories so I thought I would share those with you.

When a new person moves into his building, a chain of events unfurl that force Monsier Perdu to come to terms with his broken heart and embark on a journey down the river in his book barge to visit the woman who broke his heart 20 years ago.

This book was filled with quirky interesting characters (Perdu included) who are all affected by love in various ways (aren’t we all…). There are people in and out and lost in love. Also Perdu kind of learns what it is like to love someone like a son as well as the love of friends so I guess it’s not just about romantic love.
